A Certification Program Geared Towards Educating Safety Professionals in the Post-frame Industry.

We encourage all NFBA members to join this program, regardless if you're just getting started or already well established in safety best practices.
Cost:
- $300 to Join (Certification must be renewed annually - covers your company / branch associated with your membership)
Benefits:
- Complete the Certification, Receive $150 in NFBA Credit for Products & Event Registrations
- Have Questions on Daily Safety Operations? Submit them online to the Safety Committee. We can help! (Form coming soon)
- Safety Certified Logo next to your Company’s Membership Directory Listing
- Additional 30-minute call per month, with NFBA Legal Counsel (Safety Related Only)
- Free copy of the NFBA Safety Manual Template
- Distinguish your company as a SAFETY CHAMPION (1 Associate & 1 Builder Member that scores Platinum Level in the Excellence in Safety Award)
Certification Requirements:
- Must be an NFBA Member (Builder & Associate Members)
- Must attend or watch 6 of 8 webinars (Recordings will be made available)
- Must submit an application for the Excellence in Safety Award (Application fee waived for certification participants)

- June - Safety Matters: Overview of General Safety
- July - Accident Investigation
- August - Fall Protection / Ladder Safety
- September - Safety Enforcement
- October - PPE
- November - Heat Illness, Cold Injury Prevention, General Duty Clause
- December - Scaffolds, Aerial Lifts, & Scissor Lift Safety
- January - Multi-Employer Worksites, Subcontractor Safety
