Pals Brewery is a family friendly restaurant and mirco brewery located in North Platte, NE. Pal's provides an inviting atmosphere to bring the kids, join with friends and family, and enjoy specialty craft beers, pizza, and other delicious food and drink. Both kids and adults can burn off some energy in the outdoor play areas including horseshoes and corn hole games.
Pal's Brewery is a popular destination after the game, celebrating events with the family. It also provides a unique local food and drink destination for weary travelers coming off the interstate looking for a unique atmosphere to enjoy refreshments. Tours of the brewery area and viewing windows into the brewery area offer insights into the processes and skills required to create unique craft beers.
The entry to the building welcomes guests with a gabled porch entry with massive looking cedar wood beams. The eyes are drawn upward to notice the wood lined finish on the underside of the entry roof. the 12' wide porches with picnic tables welcomes guests and invite everyone to make yourself at home and enjoy the shade and breezes on a summer day. From the inside seating area numerous windows and full view overhead doors allow great visibility to watch the outdoor activities and keep an eye on the kids. The flat black ceiling provides a subtle contrast to the corrugated steel wainscot, bright lighting and picnic table seating. The bar area captures your eye's attention with it's decor and bustling staff at work. The viewing window and tours of into brewery area allows visitors to appreciate how much equipment and effort goes into formulating their favorite craft beers. They have attached a 50' x 40' x 12' tasting area. Inside the brewing area the walls are insulated and lined with white liner panel for easy cleaning. They have an office, restroom, and two walk in coolers. The tasting area includes a beautiful bar constructed with rough cut cedar for the bar top, galvanized panels for the front, and a round metal table off one side. The end wall is covered with sealed rough cut cedar planks and the sidewalls have sheet rock. The ceiling has 2:12 scissor trusses with black simple saver. The HVAC is exposed round duct work. They have two 8' x 6' full view overhead doors on the end wall allow them to see the view and open them for fresh air. The concrete floor is colored Wheat. The tasting area is complete with two bathrooms and a small kitchen where they create delicious pizzas and toasted cheese curds. The tasting are has a wide 12' wide wrap around porch with a dormer highlighting the entrance. The brew area has two 3' x 3' lighted cupolas on top of the copper roof. They have a large outdoor area where customers can sit under the porch or in the grass and enjoy a cold crew. The area is large enough to host entertainment. They have had several bands perform as well as some comedians.
The post frame advantage gave them a more economical design and cost. It improved the speed of construction along with flexibility to provide the beautiful look they wanted.
