The successful sale of residential metal roofing involves many steps—marketing, lead generation, appointment setting, orientation, needs analysis, product presentation, and closing the deal—and each step must be done with intentionality. This session will cover the best-proven practices in all these areas. We’ll also address ways to analyze the needs presented by individual prospects and their homes, with the goal of reaching a solution that meets those needs and results in a successful roof installation.
About Todd Miller
Todd Miller has spent his entire professional career of 30+ years in the steep slope metal roofing industry. He has played an industry leadership role for over 20 years and is widely respected for his knowledge, integrity, and verbal and written communication skills. Todd’s expertise is in residential metal roofing with in-depth knowledge of various panel systems, base metals, coatings, and the overall market dynamics. He also possesses a keen understanding of the building envelope including ventilation and thermal dynamics. While his career has largely been in manufacturing, marketing, and sales, Todd also has been involved with a great deal of industry research and he has written or co-written numerous technical bulletins and installation guidelines.
