Building use, importance, and newsworthiness:

This is a nice farm shop that will be used to store farm equipment. It is important due to the unique features the customer chose for the exterior and the interior. This is the first farm shop for this family and it will be enjoyed  for years to come. It is newsworthy due to the size and scope of the building, features that were included and being very energy efficient and maintenance free.

Unique features:

Unique features include a colored concrete floor in the office, deep fascia overhangs, exterior wainscot, in floor heat, Morton Concrete column foundation system and attached 24' x 32' office with porch.

Post-frame advantage:

Post-frame construction offered the best insulation methods with the Morton Buildings Energy Performer Insulation system. Morton pre-cast concrete columns to eliminate any chance of rot, large Raynor overhead doors for ease of access and snow bars to eliminate snow and ice falling from the roof.
